Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface using terrazzo-like techniques. Since it is reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains light-weight and less fragile than concrete.

How are they made? This fine statuary is created by reconstituting real Carrara marble (approximately 70% marble and 30% resin). This allows for exceptional detail that would be very difficult (if not impossible) to sculpt from a solid block of marble.
